Modern Library Built in Harmony with Nature
Construction Management services for a new 8,990-square-foot public library for the County of Santa Cruz. The project included complex site work adjacent to a protected creek and coordination with environmental stakeholders.
Challenge
Building near a protected creek required balancing new construction with environmental restoration. Complex site work included removal of an old culvert and installation of an advanced septic system to ensure the facility could coexist safely with the surrounding ecosystem.
Approach
Bogard coordinated site and utility work carefully while maintaining clear communication with the County and community stakeholders. Detailed planning and steady field oversight helped keep the project on schedule while meeting environmental requirements without sacrificing quality.
Result
