About
Family-Owned, Experience-Led
We build the schools where generations have learned, the hospitals that care for families, the civic and nonprofit spaces that connect communities, and the housing that keeps neighborhoods strong.
Founded in 1947 by Victor F. Bogard Sr., the company started as a small local builder focused on craftsmanship and service. Four generations later, that same commitment still defines how we work. We have grown alongside our region, expanding our capabilities while staying true to the people and principles that built our reputation.
Today, Bogard Construction remains a family business in every sense. Family members from the third and fourth generations continue to lead the company, upholding the standards set by Vic Sr. While some family members today use the Bogaard spelling, tied to the family’s Dutch heritage, the company continues to operate as Bogard Construction, the name clients and communities have known for decades.
Our work spans ground-up construction, renovations, and tenant improvements across public and private sectors. We manage projects from preconstruction through completion, combining careful planning, clear communication, and steady, on-site leadership.
Most of our projects come from repeat clients and referrals, reflecting the trust earned by doing things right.
In conducting our business, we are and will continue to be guided by the following principles and ethics. These principles are imperative for the success, stability and growth of our company.
