Housing for Teachers: Santa Cruz City Schools’ Staff Housing Project is in Full Swing

To combat high teacher turnover caused by unaffordable local housing, Santa Cruz City Schools is building an educator housing community. The project, set for completion in 2028, will provide over 100 affordable rental units for district staff, funded by bond measures.
